Christopher is a certified pedorthist by the American Board of Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics and a Certified Orthotist by the Board of Certification of Orthotics. He started out in this field as a technician, where he realized that he was able to combine the two things he loved most: working with his hands and art. He realized, though, that there was an element of his job that was missing: patient interaction. Christopher quickly realized that he needed to branch out and become a practitioner in order to fulfill that missing link. Now he is able to work with his hands, use his artist abilities, and have constant patient interaction.
Chris graduated from the Northwestern University for Pedorthics Certification program. He is affiliated with various organizations, such as the ABC and the Pedorthic Footwear Association. Additionally, Chris has earned his orthotic certification through the Board of Orthotic Certification (BOC).
His primary focus is on lower extremity orthotics, but he is working on becoming better aquainted with pediatrics and spinal bracing (scoliosis) as well. Christopher enjoys combining pedorthic principles and orthotic treatments, as they overlap and enhance one another when simultaneously applied.
Chris is strongly motivated by his desire to do meaningful work, and he utilizes his position as a practitioner to help patients gain their independence.
